Potential Problems For Some Who Registered at Motor Vehicle Administration

Ross Goldstein, Maryland's deputy elections administrator, told the Washington Post that some voters had not completed the process of registering to vote at the MVA because they never filled out a card given them to finish the process.  Over the summer, the board sent over 100,000 letters to those voters, but not all responded and many went to voters who were properly registered.  Voters who did not complete the card process may not be able to vote.  Others may have to submit provisional ballots if they changed their address with the MVA but not with their voter registration.
